Plexus 2 textured sprite error

I've installed the trial version (v2.0.2b) but I keep getting the same error as soon as I attach a textured sprite to a points renderer, when I move the timeline AE gives me the error "58::0 unsafe operation attempted". I've tried it on different computers (win7 64bit) and in different versions of AE (cs5 and cs6) and it gives the same error, any thoughts?
